To exacerbate issues even further, they’re trying to suppress any meaningful discourse on why things are so absolutely fucked up like Brandon Raub being detained for speaking out against the corruption of the Fed and government (http://www.zerohedge.com/contributed/2012-08-21/former-marine-indefinitely-detained-psychiatric-ward-over-911-facebook-posts), and Julian Assange for whistleblowing against the general fuckery behind the wars, torture, and deceit of current world events (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Julian_Assange).
None of this is by accident of course, if you want insight into why all these massive sectors are in such dire straights, one does not need to look farther than how intertwined multi-national corporations in cahoots with they lobbies, and the US government is.

What I want to get at, is that this government as George Carlin so eloquently put, was sold and bought out a loooooonnng time ago, and this upcoming November election, is like the many before it, is a complete farce.
Don’t buy into it. Turn off the white noise that is known as politics. Trust me, none of the rhetoric is meaningful, most of it is a dog and pony show left for the uneducated masses that actually believe the dribble spewing from CNN and FOX News.
The Big Banks already run the show and are about to pull the pin on the global economy. All the nations, currently running fiat currency, are in so much debt, they’re about to default one by one, starting in Europe, moving to Japan, and then eventually to the shores of the USA. They engineered the insane bailouts and non-nonsensical bonuses after they totally fucked up the housing market. Most of the economy is hollow, and will need another QE (3 -> infinity) to keep the ponzi scheme going.
Look at the top campaign donors again, and take a wild guess at how the next president will act when they get into the office if the economy takes another shit. The big bank lobbies the fuck out of Washington, and unfortunately the America people are so divided and conquered, that we have absolutely no voice, figuratively, and literally with NDAA.
Where does that leave us?
In a rigged game, and within a wholly compromised system, I find it hard to believe that voting will make much of a difference. The house has the edge and will not relinquish it.
To combat the bullshit, we need education across the masses to see through the absolute corruption and bubbling tyranny that has become the government.
Turn off the TV and mass media in general, as we can clearly see from the Venn Diagram above are nothing more than unpaid employees of the government (Thanks again, George), spewing whatever skewed or nonsensical propaganda that they try to peddle on the American people. Do as much as you can to take your money out of banks, and put them in local credit unions if you can, to start. Diversify into gold and silver if you can (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj2s6vzErqY&list=PLE28546B60EF30847&index=1&feature=plcp). Do what you can to starve the beast.
Try to reduce reliance on gas. Support local food production via farmers’ markets.
Do what you can, because the government has no problems having the American people enslaved by pop culture, beer enduced comas, chasing goods that they don’t need as they try to impress people they don’t really like with the artificial need to impress manufactured by advertisers and marketers. They have no problems watching people trudge into the voting booths, delusionally watching dumbfounded as the next paid schill breaks all of their campaign promises. They have no problems watching inflation, an invisible tax, erode your savings and purchasing power to nothing.
The time to rise is now.
